The Medium Duty Industrial series shredders, with their twenty inch wide input conveyor, consists of the AMS-1500, AMS-2000, AMS-2500, AMS-3000, and AMS-4000 models. Using ten and three-quarter inch diameter cutters, these models range from fifteen to forty horsepower and will realistically shred one to three tons of material per hour. The Medium Duty Industrial's quality engineering, design, and manufacturing add up to a tons per day ability that is unsurpassed in the industry.

Precision ground, A-2 tool steel cutters with a positive saw-tooth grip will shred not only paper but corrugated boxes, credit cards, transparencies, etc. An optional automatic cutter head lubrication system is available.
   
 
 
Aluminum bronze wear pads keep the cutters from riding into the side plates of the shredder and can be field adjusted to maintain tolerances and maximize shredding.
           
               
         
 
   
Heat treated spur gears with a full 4-1/2" face provide effective transfer of power to the cutters. Oil bath lubrication eliminates the need for manual greasing.
