LDI Focus

It has been awhile since I have written a letter in the service section and a lot has changed since then. I have been busy installing a number of shredding systems in Canada, New Zealand and Australia as well as within the U.S. These, along with our recent equipment sales in Japan, China, Iraq and many other countries has added further to our international customer base.

The introduction of our hard drive shredders has been a huge success for over two years since our emergence into the E-scrap market. It has allowed our customers to add to the services they offer to their current customers as well as bring in new accounts.

In this letter I would like to address the thousands of customers who own our LDI shredders. These durable units have long been among our best sellers. They have often been the starting point for many of our customers who were just getting into the document destruction business because they allow for on-site and off-site shredding with the same machine.

Most have since upgraded to one of our larger models but many of you have kept your LDI’s as a backup shredder or maybe just for sentimental reasons. Others have sold their LDI’s to someone else who was just getting into the business. I’m sure they appreciated help from someone who’s been there.

While the majority of these units are still in good working order some may benefit from a little maintenance or repair. We stock every part for these shredders and are only a phone call or an email away from shipping today.

We also offer a cross cut option, with a variety of shred sizes, for many of these machines. Changing your cutters to a cross cut will allow you to offer a smaller shred size for those highly sensitive documents, which often require a specific particle size.

We offer complete cutter head replacements that are factory assembled and tested. This makes cutter head replacement a breeze, without the down time and hassle of tearing apart your existing head. The cost is less than buying individual parts so it’s like getting the assembly for free.
